Holiday Ai sauce, or me, but not me

December 18, 2024

I have a lot to say about artificial intelligence, especially regarding photography. For instance, there should be none for news photography.

Like all advances in science, such as landing a man on the moon, computer programming, or artificial intelligence, these advances are incredibly entertaining when used for entertainment.

Voilà! My Christmas card cover. I'm in there somewhere, maybe around the eyes or the mouth. The good people at JibJab generated the rest of it. I've been using their website for years. They were experts at developing comic situations where I could implant my face into various characters. Sometimes, I would implant your face into multiple characters. The result was always cartoonily funny. It was so bad you knew it was fake.

What’s not fake is my hope that you have a Merry Christmas and a grand New Year.

Stay safe.
